Close the cover securely to prevent spillage.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eLoading Procedure\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eOpen the cover of the compartments containing both powder and bullet.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePlace your thumb over the bullet compartment so the bullet remains in the compartment, and pour the powder into the barrel.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove the projectile, and place the projectile into the muzzle.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUsing a bullet starter, press on top of the projectile until the projectile is in the bore. Seat with palm-saver ramrod the remaining way into the barrel, and press to ensure projectile is firmly seating against the powder.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRemove either the 209 primer, or the VariFlame™ Adapter from the lid, and insert into breech plug.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eWARNING:\u003c\/strong\u003e The Universal Speed Loader loaded with loose blackpowder or pelletized powder should be treated in the same manner as any other loaded ammunition.
