About Hornady
Hornady has made bullets in Grand Island, Nebraska, since 1949, and has grown into one of the few companies that builds bullets, loaded ammunition, brass and reloading equipment under one name. That makes it easy to keep a load consistent from the components on your bench to the factory ammo in your hunting pack.
Hornady's Heat Shield polymer tips, used on ELD-X and ELD Match bullets, are designed to resist heat deformation in flight. ELD-X is built for hunting with controlled expansion, while ELD Match is built for target accuracy.
