Berger Classic Hunter Bullets utilize their industry-leading hybrid ogive, which blends tangent and secant designs to optimize efficiency, reduce wind-drift, and minimize sensitivity to seating depth. The Classic Hunter Bullets are designed for magazine usage and can easily conform to SAAMI dimensions while reloading. Great for factory rifle applications where quick follow-up shots are a must. Classic Hunters utilize a thinner J4 Precision Jacket for rapid expansion on game animals. Classic Hunters are designed to penetrate 2-3″ and then begin to expand and create a massive wound cavity up to 15″. The hydrostatic shock causes most animals to drop immediately.

Perfect for Mag. length actions

An extremely accurate and lethal bullet. In my Saami length chamber removable mag box the fit and allow me seat BTOG .020 off jam. With IMR 4831 I’m printing a mean radius 4 shot group of 0.159

Good for target

I shoot 200 yards at paper and I found these bullet are more accurate then VLDs. With my modified savage I get 5/8 to 3/4 groups VLDs 1” to 11/4” groups.

Berger Bullets

I LOVE the Berger bullets for targets and thin skinned animals such as Coyotes, Antelope, and Deer. If you stay away from the shoulder blade they will drop in their tracks. You will be amazed at how much damage they will do inside the animal. Most times there will NOT be an exit wound as all the energy is expended inside the animal. People say that makes it harder to track but with these bullets you won’t have to track. They are amazing.
