Berry’s 7.62 x 39mm 123gr bullet delivers precision, flat trajectories, and reliable performance for your rifle. Each bullet starts with a swaged lead core and is fully electroplated with copper to eliminate lead exposure, producing a smooth surface that feeds consistently in semi-auto platforms. The spire point profile is engineered for accuracy and minimal barrel fouling, making it a trusted choice for reloaders who demand dependable results. Perfect for indoor ranges and reloading with smokeless powder, these plated bullets maintain consistent grain weight and stability for tight groups shot after shot.

Bullet O.A.L.: .796"

Cartridge Name: 7.62x39mm

Cartridge O.A.L.: 2.150"

Max Velocity: 2000 fps

  • Load data for Berry's Superior Plated Bullets® can be found in any manual or on any powder manufacturer’s website.
  • Cast or jacketed data with the same grain weight and profile will work with our bullets.
  • You can use a taper or a roll crimp.
  • Don’t over crimp the brass after seating. This causes bullet core separation, leading to increased copper fouling and accuracy issues.
  • Don’t exceed the recommended maximum velocities listed. This creates bullet core separation and accuracy issues.

This is not loaded ammunition.

I'm trying so hard to use these in my AK. I'm seeing that people are successfully using these in AKs and I'm to the point where I'd pay for information on how they are making these work. They are quite short compared to other bullets of same caliber and if I load them deep enough in the case they don't cycle well. If i leave more bullet exposed then I get squib rounds, very dangerous. Fortunately I'm old enough to have known what happened and I didn't make a grenade. Can anyone please share with me what mags are feeding these or what your c.o.a.l. is because I am beyond frustrated. Please email me [****] thanks

7.62x39 Berry's Bullets

As usual, Berry does not disappoint. Fine bullets at a decent price. Loaded with Accurate 1680 and fired in an AR platform.

Great Bullets for range practice

I've been loading these bullets for use in my AK rifles for a couple of years now, and they work quite well for range practice.
They are reasonably priced and easier on the wallet than copper jacketed bullets. Thanks Graf & Sons for carrying these bullets.
