Our primers are highly evolved products because we continuously test and improve. Today's CCI primer is more sensitive, easier to seat, and more compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment than even before. CCI primers have always incorporated modern non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixes.

The CCI small rifle primer #400 is a quality primer. The thickness of the primer cup is .018” This is thicker than some other small rifle primers. The thicker primer cup does not lessen the sensitivity of the primer. I haven’t experienced a misfire or a ruptured primer with the CCI #400.

Great stuff, great company. CCI always seems tighter fit than others in NEW brass. Used brass not so much. Always try to use them when available. Grafs rocks.
