These bullets were specifically designed for .510 caliber handguns and NOT the 500 S&W. These bullets feature Cutting Edge Bullets' Raptor hollow point design. This design functions by shedding 4 large petals after 1-2" of penetration while the base continues through for ever deeper penetration. The base has been tested and proven to penetrate 20" - 24" into ballistics gel.
