Great for target shooting. Bullets are economical, easy to reload and accurate.

Great bullets have never had any problems with item. Service and delivery is quick. Low cost shipping. Seem to have a problem with the shipping personnel. Last two packages received, bullet package inside box had broken open bullets scattered all over box. .224 were intact, but .401 were not, three of the 1000 were missing. Items this heavy need to be packed tight and not be allowed to shift in the main box, poor packaging practices.

I have loaded thousands of these bullets in my 1050 with a bullet feeder. They run flawlessly and load great. They also shoot very well out of gas and bolt guns. Will definitely keep buying them.

As with anything from Hornady, you expect quality and these 55gr fmjbt bullet are exactly that. When you pair them legendary service from Graf's, its a win win.

Great bullets for plinking but what I like about this product is how Grafs packages the bullets in convenient, stackable 250rd boxes. The boxes make storage much easier compared to a large bag.

Excellent bullet

I like to cast my own bullets for plinking, but the .223 Rem cartridge really needs a jacketed bullet to perform. Most of my reloading experience in this caliber has been with bulk bullets from another manufacturer best known for their lever guns. In these times of ammunition scarcity, any source of components is a blessing, and Grafs was offering these Hornady bullets in bulk for a good price. I've never purchased Hornady bullets for .223 Rem but I did have a lot of experience with their product in other calibers, mostly handgun. I had no doubt that these would be a quality product, and they certainly met my expectation.

These are the classic 55gr FMJ-BT design with a cannelure, and as such they are well-matched to rifles with the most common twist rates. Grafs repackaged the bullets into nice reusable plastic boxes; 250 to a box. This makes them easier to store than the typical plastic bag. I have not shot any of these bullets yet, but a quick inspection and quality check indicates that these should be excellent performers. The visual appearance of these is very uniform and attractive, shiny, no flaws of any kind. A sample of ten bullets gave a weight of exactly 55gr each, to the precision of my scale. I also measured each diameter with a micrometer, accurate to 0.0001". The sorted results are as follows:

I do not have in-depth knowledge of the expected manufacturing tolerance for this product, but these measurements look very good to me. Certainly the diameter and weight control are way better than I achieve with my cast bullets!

I would definitely buy this product again and look forward to sending these beauties downrange!

These aren't match grade bullets, nor are they intended to be. They are an inexpensive quality bullet that is fairly consistent in weight and dimension. Perfect bullet for a day at the range with an AR shooting steel.
