Hornady's traditional line of bullets feature exposed lead tips for controlled expansion and hard-hitting terminal performance. Most have their pioneering secant ogive design — one of the most ballistically efficient profiles ever developed. Most feature Hornady's exclusive InterLock® design — a raised ring inside the jacket that is embedded in the bullet's core that keeps the core and jacket locked together during expansion to retain mass and energy.

  • INNER GROOVES: Strategically weaken the upper section of the jacket, ensuring consistent, controlled expansion, even at long range.
  • TAPERED JACKET: Jacket thickness is precisely controlled for expansion at all velocities.
  • ONE-PIECE CORE: Does not separate like two-piece divided cores. The InterLock® retains more mass and energy for deep penetration and large, consistent wound channels that ensure quick, clean kills.
  • CANNELURE: Provides accurate and consistent crimping and also works with InterLock® ring to ensure the core and jacket remain locked during expansion.
  • INTERLOCK® RING: The raised InterLock® ring is embedded in the bullet's core, ensuring the core and jacket are locked in one piece during expansion to retain mass and energy.

I chose this bullet for my Tikka T3x which I had rebarelled to .358Win. I hunt primarily in pretty thick woods and find this bullet to be both reliable and accurate.

They shoot great in my 360 Buckhammer in my Henry lever action rifle.

The reason I got into this

My Marlin 336c chambered in 35 Remington is why I started reloading. This venerable cartridge is apparently made from unobtainium so why not cook up some myself. Excited to join the ranks of these fine fellows!

These bullets are extremely accurate... They also put whitetail deer COG (chin on the ground) dead. Drop where they are hit

Exactly what I needed / wanted

These projectiles are exactly what I needed and wanted for the Marlin .35 Remington that has just now been passed down to my grandson...
These Hornady projectiles will allow my grandson to enjoy hunting (and hopefully the success) with the rifle just as his father and I have...
Thanks Hornady
also the item was packaged great and delivered very fast from Graf & Sons - Thank You

35 Remington

My son has a Marlin 35 Remington I bought for him when he was about 10 years old. Factory ammo is nearly impossible to find. We have always saved our brass, so at least I can reload that for him, now that he is 40 years old. I plan to reload these bullets into some brass we have hoarded, I wish Starline would make some more brass! These bullets are great for medium range on deer. Thanks Hornady, and Grafs!

Not Just For the .35Rem

I use this bullet for the .358 Winchester. It is a great bullet and very reliable but I don't try to get maximum velocities out of it as I don't need them in my hunting area. I wish Hornady made all the round nosed bullets they used to but it seems they aren't popular enough to satisfy the folks who think hunting only involves extreme long range shooting. For those who know the round nosed design is a hard hitting bullet and penetrates better under most conditions.

Hornady Bullets

I use all types of bullets. Round Nose Hornady Bullets are very much appreciated for their slapping power at most encountered ranges. I mean I can hear them slap hide out to 300 yards or so! Then I know I got a hit! I do control work for Maplewood Farm 12 Months out of the year. I use pointed bullets too but if a scope takes a shit or a mount loosens up I don't know it until I go to paper, but with round nose I know a hit or miss instantly!
Long Range Shots are still taken with round nose bullets here now a days what with the use of range finders and ranging glass sights figuring the trajectory is easy business on big game. I use the Leopold CUSTOM DIAL GLASS and some older Bushnell scope chief BDC glass sights and a rangefinder for predictable results regularly. They make it easy!I really don't concern myself with bullet drop, I jis take a reading, set the glass and shoot. I can't tell the difference between a 100 M. Shot and a 400M. shot.
