HORNADY AUTO CHARGE PRO DIGITAL POWDER SCALE

It has loaded around 3,000 rounds with this scale and is flawless so far. After seating the bullet, just the right amount of time takes to dispense a load. Really happy with this purchase and all Hornaday products!

The Hornady Auto Charge Pro powder dispenser is a joy to use. The touch screen is very sensitive to the touch so you don’t have to mash the buttons to enter your numbers. Very customizable, which results in minimal overcharge loads. It is quiet and easy to use. I prefer Hornady products and I would recommend this powder dispenser to anyone wanting an accurate dispenser. Plus, Grafs is offering this item at a great price. What’s not to like!

This review comes only after a few hundred reloads using the unit.
This was purchased to replace a RCBS Chargemaster Lite. While the Chargemaster unit itself has been accurate and reliable, the unit is very slow. I find myself constantly waiting for the unit to stop trickling so I can continue reloading activities. Enter this Hornady unit, a unit that has all features that you would expect it to have but also be fully configurable. You want the most precise loads? Turn the dispensing mode to slow, the trickle to a lower speed, and configure it to start trickling early. You will get very accurate powder weights, probably the most accurate loads at this price range. Want something pretty good and don't mind it being within .1 gr? turn the dispensing mode to fast, the trickling fast, and configure the trickle to start later. It will still do a great job.

scale does not drift like other scales fast and accurate. So far I have loaded 338rum and 308win very good results in groups and consistent velocities over chonograph

I had been using a manual scale to dispense powder for my rifle loads and I never really achieved the Standard Deviation that consistently recorded in the single digits. So, I decided to give this a try. Much to my satisfaction, the SD went from double digits (11) to single digits (6) on the very first load. I wish I had spent the extra dollars earlier to get the precision this device delivered for me. Spend the little extra and you'll get the results you are looking for when it comes to precision ammunition loads.
