Hornady bullet puller collet

First purchased the Hornady Bullet puller for .223. It is much shorter than the 270/30-06 family of cartridges. Worked well. Due to the length of the 270, the puller body can be inserted into the press only 2 threads and even then, the amount of the stroke you have left with the press to pull the bullet is extremely short. This requires more muscle power than it should. The body of the unit should be longer for these cases in order to insert it further into the press and to be able to utilize the full stroke/leverage of the press. I would avoid this unit for the longer case applications!
