This compact, battery operated trickle-compatible scale offers a maximum reference measurement of 1500 grains. Unlike other scales on the market, it features a precision load cell with 1/10th grain accuracy and constant readout up to 500 grains, offering the flexibility to trickle powder into the pan or weigh charges, bullets or cases directly. You can trust this scale to make quick work of your most precise handloading tasks. Includes two AAA batteries.

Best Low Cost Digital I've Used

Let me preface my review with the fact that there's no replacing a beam scale for precision. That said, I have electronic scales for convenience and confirming measure settings. Allowed to warm up for a few minutes, after at least a couple of years of ownership this Hornady scale will stay set, weigh accurately, plus has good battery life. I trust this scale more than my $200+ desktop digital. If they're all as good as the one I have, they're a bargain in their price point as well as other more costly scales. If mine goes belly-up before I do, I won't hesitate to purchase another!

Accurate and Easy

-Hornady's G3-1500 digital scale is perfect for the re-loader who demands accurate weight measurements for sorting out bullet and case weights, as well as powder charges when using the LEE dipper system.

Once you use this scale and get a system down; you will be surprised at how fast and accurate this little guy is!
