HORNADY ONE-SHOT GUN CLEANER 10oz AEROSOL 6/CS

Works great to keep my hornady dies and firearms clean and rust free!

I have used this on my firearms for years. Sometimes it is hard to find - Glad I found it on Graf & Sons.

I run Mossberg 590S tactical and 940 shotguns and they can get really dirty and wet depending on your environment and application. Excels on oxidation and corrosion prevention. Penetrates areas that other lubricants can't reach. I also use One-Shot on the go out in the field to keep my weapons operating at peak performance.

I use this stuff on my guns, dies, presses, and almost any metal that needs a tough, dry lube and cleaner. Never any problem with it whatsoever. I recommend it.

I’m not going to say this is the best or most aggressive cleaner, but it does a fine job. The thing I love about this product is it acts like (or IS) a dry film lubricant, with excellent corrosion protection.

The trifecta of important applications for me are
1) Carry Weapon. Keeping your carry weapon oiled up to prevent corrosion also comes with lots of oil and grime/lint, and frequent reapplication (eg every few days). With one shot, you got rid of all these issues. I’ve gone an embarrassingly long time before forcing myself to do a clean because it just isn’t the same issue anymore.
2) Shooting dirty 22 ammo. The surefire way to keep that 10/22 or 22/45 running for 1,000 rounds in a stint is one shot. You’re not suspending gunk in oil and gumming up the action. Google it for success stories.
3) Reloading dies and anything metal (eg rifle barrels). I try to use gloves when handling stuff but you know how it goes when you are trying to get stuff done. I clean my dies with one shot and pretty much anything I touch that is metal I hit with one shot now to get my sweaty fingerprints off to prevent corrosion.

Excellent product.

This is a great product for use on modern guns with all the plastic parts. Cleans well and leaves behind a light film of lubricant. Doesn't seem to attract lint to my pocket pistols as bad as other lubes.

I wasn’t sure how well this would work as both a degreaser and lubricant. After using this for five minutes I could tell what a fantastic product it actually is. I used this to completely clean, degrease and lube a brand new press and because of how easy it is and well it works I had everything cleaned and reassembled in less than 30 minutes. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This stuff is awesome! There’s tons of cleaners out there that will degrease, but this leaves a fine lubricant after it dries. I use this stuff for everything, guns, reloading dies you name it.

Initially, I was skeptical that one product can do both of these things: cleaning and lubing in one step. I've always been a die-hard to the belief that if something is not broken, don't fix it. That thinking worked well for me when I would only take one firearm to the range, meaning I had only one firearm to clean afterwards which consumed little time. These days, I take three or more to the range and find that Time (which is important to me) is short at the end of the day to do anything else. This is what prompted me to try Hornady's One-Shot cleaner and dry lube and was blown away at how well it worked, not just comparably but better than the two-step process. That's not an exaggeration. Try it on stainless steel cylinders to see how much more quickly it cleans than standard solvent. You'll see it takes less effort to bring that shine back and you don't have to use oil afterwards. Really, a great product!

I have used brake fluid in the past however this stuff has a dry lube that just works so well that in addition to cleaning die parts or firearms it is now my cleaner of choice for all the die sets that I own, as well as general reloading press cleaning !

I love this stuff. It has great performance for anti-rust qualities for storage, but where I believe it sines is in cleaning the actions of semiauto .22 rimfires (either rifle or handgun,) trigger assemblies and bolts/firing pins. Just put the tube on and spray over a trashcan, letting the dirt run out. The residue is a dry lube, so no rinsing required. I love it!
