Made in the U.S.A.

Match-Grade is a standard that must be held throughout the entire process of manufacturing some of the most consistent, accurate, and durable brass rifle casings available today. From Peterson's small batch production lines to their quality control department, to your bench, and on to the range. Match-grade is the standard that Peterson strives to achieve so that customers can maintain that standard all the way to the target.

The 7mm-08 Remington is a direct comparison to the 1958 Wildcat know as the 7mm/308 hence the name. It is a .308 Win case necked down to .284 then lengthen just a tad. This cartridge is finding its place in the long-range target shooting and hunting world for a few different reasons. It has longer range than the .308 Win with less recoil.

This round is most common as a hunting round for medium sized game.

The 7mm-08 Remington Match Grade Cartridge is manufactured on Peterson Cartridge’s new, state-of-the-art case line which uses cutting-edge technology to produce some of the most precise and consistent casings on the market. Peterson Cartridge Co is committed to producing Match-Grade Brass that enables our customers to get more reloads per casing than industry average.

Warning: Only use Peterson Cartridge Co. casings in firearms in good condition, designed, marked, and chambered for this cartridge. Do not use Peterson Cartridge Co casings for “fire forming” or any other purpose other than what they were designed and tested for. Peterson retains no responsibility for the enclosed casings if they are used outside of the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Peterson 7-08

Peterson brass. Looks good. Absolutely trash! Not only do I have this in 708. I also have it in 270 and 300 long. I am not a fan of it so I will buy from other manufacturers. Shame be a use I really wanted to use this brass.

Like them so far

I just bought Peterson brass for the first time and I haven't fired them yet but so far, it is really nice. It is uniform, well made, and was sized and trimmed from the factory. I had a little issue with seating the primers but that was resolved quickly. I am assuming their brass is a bit thicker than most as some of the loads I tried filled the cases to near the top of the neck. I am heading to the range today and I will post another review when I return.

Peterson 7-mm08 primer pockets

This brass costs the same as Lapua, but I thought that I would spend my money for an American company. My complaint is with the primer pockets, every other condition is fine.
While checking the seating depth of the bullets, I noticed that the primer was protruding out of the pocket. After taking measurements of the pocket and the primers, it showed that my Winchester LRP's were .129" tall and the brass pocket was .127" deep. The primers were protruding .002".
I adjusted my K&M primer pocket uniformer to cut the pockets to .131" deep. I haven't fired any of the ones uniformed yet, so I can't comment on the results.
I've never had this issue with Lapua.

Peterson 7mm-08 Brass

This is the stuff the big boys use. This is premium brass. It is annealed and the cases are trimmed to length. I don't know if anyone else does this. The brass also comes in its' own case. When I went to the range, there was an improvement in accuracy.
The amazing thing is-they are reasonably priced! I
demand the best so I will continue to buy Peterson. I just wish they made more calibers.

Excellent product

I've used 7MM-08 brass from many different manufacturers and this brass is on the top of my list. Primer pockets are great and need no further truing up. Length is good and case weight is excellent.
