RCBS RAM PRIMING UNIT

The Ram Priming Unit has work well and as advertised. However, I found that trying to use it as the primary priming tool was not the best choice. I have to handle each primer by hand and when processing 50 rounds, that would be tedious. Instead, I used the regular RCBS hand primer with the circular tray to hold and feed the primers. I then inspected all cases and used the Ram Priming Unit to fully seat and cases with primers that were not fully seated.

I have been using a hand held priming unit for years.
Kept having trouble getting auto pistol primers and .223 rifle primers to seat flush or below rim face.
The RCBS priming unit does a perfect job seating the primers right where I want them.
Now I use the hand held unit to prime the brass, then follow up with the RCBS unit for final seating.
It is an extra step in the process, but it is worth it.
The unit is easy to set up and consistent.
I highly recommend this product.

Great so far . Kept having a few minor issues with hand primers so I thought I would give this a try . So far I haven’t had any problems once you set it up your good to go.

I bought this way back in 1988 and it is definitely the best priming unit ever. Seats to the same depth every time, it's foolproof guys and I wouldn't use anything else.

I am here to tell you,this is the best primer for a press.I had some brass,44-40,that had tight primer pockets,the swing arm type on my press was not doing it,the hand primer I had was not doing it,Got this ,and night and day difference,you would not know you had tight pockets.You can preset for different brass or do by feel.Great product.
