For informal target practice in places with a minimum backstop, finding the proper ammo isn’t always easy. Speer® plastic training bullets and cases make the perfect practice load. Reusable molded plastic cases and bullets powered by CCI® large pistol primers provide an accurate and inexpensive alternative. They are designed for 25-foot shooting.

A standard large pistol primer provides all the power needed to propel the reusable bullets at velocities between 300 and 400 ft/sec. Cases are reusable, too. You don't even need reloading equipment to assemble Speer practice ammo. The case (red #SP8515) / bullet (black #SP8510) system is available for 38/357 and 44 caliber revolvers. Bullets and cases are sold separately so you can replace lost or damaged bullets.

SAFETY FIRST: Never use propellant when loading Plastic Training components. Treat the resulting ammunition with the same respect given conventional ammunition; velocity is high enough to injure the skin. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Brush the bore every 12-18 shots to prevent accumulation of primer residue.

They seem like they might be ok

This review is based on a couple of YouTube videos I watched. Unfortunately I haven't been able to try them because I haven't found any primers yet. The website was a little vague. I thought I just needed the plastic bullets and cases...my bad
They look like they will be a lot of fun once I get the primers, which are currently out of stock. I hope to get to try them out sometime soon.

Speer 38 cal. Plastic cases

Along with the Speer plastic bullets these round out an afternoon of quality fun. Easily reloadable, multiple shots from each case, well worth the money. I must recommend getting extra bullets, they just don't seem to last as long as cases. I never find all of them.

Another quality product from Speer. These reusable cases are easy to load with pistol primers and I like to use foam earplugs as a "bullet" for fun indoor target gallery shooting. FUN FACT: The Speer plastic bullets will easily penetrate drywall.
