The Wilson Pistol Max (Cartridge) Gage is designed to check loaded pistol cartridges and is set to maximum SAAMI spec dimensions. This gage will measure Max Case Length, Max Cartridge dimensions and Max Loaded Round Length. But, more importantly it will help you to determine what is going on with your loaded ammunition. It can help to solve many issues associated with loading pistol ammunition. Such as, bowing of cases during sizing, oblong rounds, bulge on case or crimp just to name a few. The Pistol Max Gage is a must if you are loading your own ammunition for your handguns or if you need to check purchased factory ammunition.

Measures Max Case Length. Measures Max Body Diameters. Measures Overall Round SAAMI

Made In the U.S.A.

LE Wilson makes excellent tools

I have several of their gages. .44 Spec, .44 Mag, .45 ACP, .357 Mag, .38 Spec, .45 Colt, 9 X 18, .223 Rem, etc.
They are excellent quality and easy to use. I will be ordering some more in the next order.

Nice Tool for Checking Reloaded Ammo Specs

Nice tool to use while making reloads to confirm ammo will chamber while you're getting reloading dies set up. YouTube has great video's on these and similar tools from Wilson. I bought a few of these (357 Mag, 380 Auto, 9mm, @ .223/5.56). I particularly like these for the semi auto guns.
