The Burstfire 2-in-1 is an induction case annealer and six-station case prep center built into one machine. It anneals each case in about 3 seconds on average using water-cooled induction coils and an automated gravity-feed chute, and it handles cases up to .338 Lapua Magnum with the included Magnum wheel.

What does an induction annealer do for reloaders?

Annealing softens case necks that work-harden after repeated firing and resizing. Consistent annealing helps keep neck tension uniform from case to case, which supports consistent bullet release and longer brass life.

The Burstfire pairs that step with case prep, since each of its six stations runs on a dedicated motor rather than one shared motor with plastic gears. Load the chute, set the turret to your caliber, and the machine feeds, anneals, and ejects cases on its own.

What setup and maintenance does the Burstfire need?

The water-cooled coils allow annealing sessions of several hours without overheating. Burstfire recommends distilled water for typical use and a glycol and distilled water coolant for sessions longer than three hours, replaced every one to two years. Typical speed settings fall between 30 and 80 depending on brass type and condition. Units shipped after January 2026 include a short case feed ramp.
