Need more shell holder options

Fairly straightforward set-up; works well. MUCH BETTER than the Lee Auto Prime that ended up in the trashcan. The description states "comes with 12 shell holders to cover the most popular cases." Well, not the most popular that I use, but somebody's I guess. Fortunately it accepts the shell holders for the Lee Auto Prime. I'd be completely happy if there were a greater range of options for calibers, but this covers about 75% of the ones that I load.

Didn’t work for me

My first impression was a well built tool. After using the tool I found that the large rifle ram diameter undersized and when seating a primer in a tight primer pocket it was creating a half-moon ridge on the primer…ram not supporting the entire primer. When gripping the tool and using the thumb to operate the seating lever, you must tip the unit towards you to load a new primer onto the ram…you are looking straight down at a live primer each time. Ergonomically the tool can be gripped where you can use your fingers and squeeze the lever, more safe way to use the tool. The primer depth feature is nice.
I returned this tool and searching for another hand priming tool. I got spoiled using an auto prime tool for the last 40 years without an issue, actually owned two of them and they both wore out after an untold number of reloads.

Excellent Tool

I have an RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme press Auto Priming Unit and the process is medium-moderate on mounting primers. I needed something quick , easy and simple to mount my primers. The Frankford Arsenal Hand priming tool is excellent , the weight is right and I can prime three times as fast , than with the RCBS Auto priming unit on the press. Also , that the Caliber that I reload the most , isn't even listed and that is the 7.62X54R for my PSL. They have calibers listed , that I haven't even heard of but not the Caliber for the 7.62X54R for the Mosin Nagant. The Frankford Arsenal Hand Priming tool doesn't include the Shell holder. I called Frankford and they said that I can use other Shell Holder Brands and I ordered (Lee's #16 Shell Holder). I ordered the Shell Holder and problem solved. I'm very pleased and Priming my Brass is Easy and Fast. I gave it five Stars because I'm pleased with the product.

Love this thing

After my lee hand primer gave up the ghost, I wanted something that would except the set of lee primer shell holders,, the reviews I read said it would,, and it is true! Yes this will take lee primer shell holders!!! The Frankford Arsenal platinum primer hand piece is a tank! This thing will outlast me easily!

solved my priming issues!

I ran into issues priming (mostly Hornady) .308 cases. my Lee AutoPrime was smashing the cups on every round. Even reaming the primer pockets did not help. This is not normally an issue. Read tons of reviews on several sites which seemed to favor the Frankford Arsenal tool. Wow! All I can say is, BUY IT! This tool WORKS! Sets up easy and as long as you follow the techniques and tips they provide, you can't go wrong.Highly recommend.

Best Tool Ever

Should have gotten one of these a long time ago. Great feel, always in right side up and straight, flush with zero bent cups. The tray feels a little flimsy but is replaceable. The rest seems solid as a rock. This is a great buy especially if doing precision (read consistent) rifle loads.
