This bullet functioned perfectly in my AR platform 450 Bushmaster rifle. I believe this will be my standard load on top of Lil-Gun powder.

Great bullet!

With some lil’ gun powder got these less than 1 moa at 100yds. Shoot, feed and kill great! Shot a basket buck in the spine approximately 70 yards with my reload, only deer I’ve killed with it so far, but entrance and exit holes were deceiving. Opened up the deer and blew out about 4” of his spine and found the polymer tip in the cavity. Buck literally flipped over on his back upon impact!

Hornady 450 FTX

I've been happy so far with my results in testing, but with the outdoor ranges closed and being restricted to 25 yards indoors it's been a bit of a challenge to do meaningful testing but so far middle to near max loadings of Lil'Gun are showing promise.

Load this bullet with Hornady brass and Lil’Gun powder. It is a great combination. Not sure about the stopping power yet, but I have no doubt it will be great.

Designed for Bushmaster & muzzleloaders

IMHO this bullet is the same one used with a sabot for 50 caliber muzzleloaders. I use it for my 450 Bushmaster with Lil-Gun powder to duplicate the Hornady “Black” factory load. Surprisingly accurate I think I will keep using that combination.
