  • TAPERED JACKET: Jacket thickness is precisely controlled for expansion at all velocities.

Excellent accuracy from my 10 twist 6mm AI. A very consistent and good value bullet. This would be my first choice bullet for deers using my 10 twist 6mm AI. Easy hits on 3 inch steel at 300. Easy to develop accuracy from 6mm AI with a variety of powders like VN 165, AA 4350, H4350, SW 4350 - all available. A good general purpose, high value 6mm bullet.

Perfect whitetail deer slayer

Let's face it, deer rarely drop dead where you shot them. That is why you need a decent sized exit wound. This bullet gives you great hydrostatic shock from expansion, and a big enough exit wound to leave a blood trail. As a bonus, you wont be picking pieces of jacket and lead out of your meat.

I have been using these bullets in two .243 Win rifles for about 15 years now. They are reasonably-priced, accurate and effective. I have taken many whitetail deer and feral hogs with them, as well as a few coyotes and turkeys.

Excellent bullets at an excellent price

I had been reloading .243 Win. from a bulk box of 1,000 Remington Power Soft Point bullets for years. Takes a while to use up 1,000 bullets. When I finally ran out I started looking for more bullets but noticed that nobody carried the old Remington PSP's so I bought a 100 count box of these Hornady 100 grain bullets to try. They have proven to reload better than the old PSP bullets and I like the fact that they have a boattail. Haven't hunted with them yet but they perform excellently at the range. No complaints.

Hornady 6mm (.243) Bullets are the best

All Hornady bullets are excellent, but I especially like these 6mm (.243) bullets for deer hunting.
