Hornady Lock-N-Load Bolt Ball

Years ago, I got one of these as a bonus gift from Graf's. Works great on a Savage action with their notoriously heavy bolt lift. Big improvement.
Also have one on a Zermatt teardrop bolt handle. This ball gives me a one finger bolt lift. Slips right on and stays in place. Best 10 dollar solution ever.

this is very useful on a bolt gun you can find the bolt head grab it even with gloves on.

I use this on my hunting and match rifles. It makes a small bolt handle more sure grip when wearing gloves/mittens when hunting. And it turns a small bolt handle into a match bolt handle that's far superior during rapid fire strings in matches. A great value for the benefits of this inexpensive accessory.

I put one on my Ruger rancher and it definitely improved the cycling with that rifle. Highly recommended for small compact bolts.

I didn't expect to like this bolt ball, but installed it on a .22 bolt action and found it's pretty handy.

Would prefer the Hornady logo smaller or less obvious, but otherwise it's a good product for the price.

Really don't care for this product. I installed it on a Winchester 70. It rolls around on the knob and can pop off when it brushes against hard objects.

Use it on a 22-250. Gives a large slip free knob use on my pd/ coyote rifle- so simple, works so well. Installed mine by using a very small dusting of mica dry wad lube. Slipped on easy

Works as advertised, quick and easy solution to bolt knob size.

Simple, inexpensive, functional... This turns your bolt action's ejecting and feeding into something you can actually control. Amazing difference.

Having the opportunity to hunt dangerous game has impressed upon me the need for a follow-up shot...this is why PHs carry double rifles (at 15 feet you can't take your eyes off the target...you just move your finger to the other trigger)...Fin Aagard (a legend) and now many others can approach this with bolt guns (I've seen the videos) they practice to keep themselves and others alive so their speed is incredible...something I can't attain...a recent video of European Wild Boar shooting reveals you can make multiple shots on running game...the rifles used are many...the bolt handles are all the same...big...the addition of this product will allow practice to allow proficiency with your rifle...if you only shoot at the bench and fire about one shot every few minutes...this will not be terribley helpful except to make your rifle look like a NASCAR racer...if you need to get your rifle back in the game quickly...put one on (very easy to install) and start shooting (besides, I need the excercise chasing and picking up my brass).
