Hornady Modified Case 223 Remington

A must have tool to improve your groups.

Reasonably priced. Works great.

You can easily make your own modified cases out of fire formed brass if you have the correct tap size (5/16″ x 36) and I do particularly when I am working with wildcat rounds (6 Dasher was the last). For the more common stuff, I have made my own and compared Hornady's modified case the case I made. The final results were negligible and had no noticeable effects downrange. Graf & Sons have a great selection and the price is fair and competitive.

I purchased four Hornady modified cases to check AOL on several rifles. The case are a perfect fit for the AOL gauge, rifle chamber and bullet diameter. Using these cases made to job simple and easy. I will definitely purchase additional modified cases if I obtain different caliber rifles and those purchases will be from Graf & Sons. Graf & Sons overall service is excellent, both in pricing and delivery.

It works perfectly without the hassles of making your own or any other method of trying to measure the OAL. I bought several calibers and they all worked great.

At first I thought this product was over priced ,
but went ahead and bought it anyway , I purchased
5 different calibers , was suprised of the quality
well made , worth the money , I would recomend
this to a freind .

Fits like a glove and stays secure. Bullets slide effortlessly and gives good readings.
