What is Lapua Center-X used for?

Center-X is a versatile match round for smallbore rifle and pistol shooters who want match-grade consistency in training as well as competition. Its subsonic velocity keeps shot-to-shot behavior predictable, and it is widely used as an everyday match and practice load.

How is Lapua Center-X quality controlled?

Lapua releases rimfire lots for distribution only when every test result falls within strict tolerance levels. Testing covers ballistic values, gas pressure, and grouping, so one box should perform like the next.

For extended distances, Lapua Long Range is loaded faster at 1,106 fps. Center-X is a natural fit for 50 meter and 50 yard smallbore work.

Can Lapua Center-X be used in pistols?

Yes. Center-X is listed for both rifle and pistol use, which makes it a practical single load for shooters who train or compete with a .22 rifle and a .22 pistol. Its subsonic velocity and 102 ft-lbs of muzzle energy keep recoil and report low on the range.

Graf & Sons has served competitive shooters since 1957 and offers Lapua rimfire ammunition by the box for match prep and lot testing.
