The Lee Factory Crimp die crimps the bullet in place more firmly than any other tool. It is impossible to buckle the case as with regular roll crimp dies. Trim length is not critical.

I own Lee Crimp dies for several calibers and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The 7.62x39 crimp die is no exception. The die can be easily adjusted from a light to heavy crimp to meet your preference.

Best results

I find the Lee dies to be consistent and always a perfect crimp. I've got about 20 calibers, and most of my crimp dies are Lee. I wish they all were.

easy crimp die

I have other Lee crimp dies and the only flaw is the ring lock, you have to mark the die to get consistency, and with time the O ring wears down. I would have given the die four stars but it is easier to make minute adjustments with the O ring than with other lock rings, the benefit is that brass does not have to be exactly the same length.
