Missouri Bullet Company bullets are “Hardness-Optimized” for your intended application. Every box of bullets displays the BHN (Brinell Hardness Number), which is constantly sampled and monitored. Specially created alloys determine the bullet hardness which varies based on the intended caliber and application. Once you try bullets optimized for the velocity of the loads you shoot, you'll never buy another manufacturer's cast bullet! This is not loaded ammunition.

I find this bullet to be extremely accurate in my 45 autos and 45 auto rimmed guns. I have always used 200 grain LSWC's for year but on a whim tried these 185 .452 Button SWC's and have been amazed at the accuracy I have been able to achieve even at 71 years of age. I normally use Tite Group or W-244 powder with these bullets using Speer small primer brass with small pistol primers, I find both powders give me great accuracy if you have not tried these bullets you might want to give them a try you might be amazed at what you will gain.

Great bullets ata decent price, just watch Seating Depth.

I use these in a Colt Gold Cup, a Springfield Armory TRP and a Dan Wesson Valor. They seem to work great as long as I do my part and keep the seating depth at 0.920" from the bottom of the case to the top of the rim of the bullet. Anything of greater length results in a jam. The Dan Wesson is the exception, as it has a feed ramp with supported barrel, and takes different overall lengths in stride. These bullets are quite accurate at low velocities, and work well with Bullseye and Power Pistol powders.

Product review

Tech notes for this product are no lie. It's a classic Bullseye H&G 130 style bullet that is extremely accurate in my vintage '60s A.M.U. built 1911.

Great Bullet

These are my favorite bullets for 45 Auto I love the Button design, they always feed well in my semi auto's with no issues. This bullet is extremely accurate when using Hodgdon 700X which is the only powder I use for 45 Auto and Auto Rimmed in my S&W 625 JM revolver. This is just a good all around bullet and will be ordering more when I find some Large Pistol Primers.

Really good bullet

Very good quality and price that puts it in line with 9mm reloading cost. Will buy more!

Best deal for .45

Hard to find cheaper .45 bullets

Great bullet

So easy to load and work with. These are perfect for practice sessions. I load just enough powder to reliably cycle my Rock Island 1911 and it eats them like candy. I use in 45 Colt as well. Very accurate and economical. Get some!

Missouri 185 grain Button .452"

These are the most accurate bullets that my SAA in .45 Colt will shoot. Absolutely no complaints. At standard velocity, these are the best. They leave the barrel clean. Great price, and Grafs has them to my house in 4 days.

nice cheap plinking load

Using these in a Kimber Custom Target 1911 and they seem to work well. Only shot about 100 of them or so and had two or three failures to feed but this could easily be due to seating depth. I'm using them over xxgr Unique (just because that's what I've got a lot of). Good for shooting steel. Nice when a 45acp load cost about the same as a 9mm!
