For rifles, this is a high-velocity bullet designed to give precision accuracy with the explosive expansion of Sierra's Varminter-style construction. This bullet is at its best when fired from the larger-capacity cartridges, such as the 22-250 or 220 Swift in rifles with barrels having 1x14" twist rates, stabilizing easily for excellent long-range accuracy and effective expansion. Normally, 1x12" or faster twist rates work best for medium-capacity cases, such as the 223 Remington. These bullets are excellent for long-range varmint hunting.

For handguns, although this bullet is of Hollow Point construction, we cannot recommend it for hunting purposes. This bullet has been very successful on half-size NRA Silhouette targets.

This is not loaded ammunition.

Here now, gone already.

This is my go-to accuracy bullet combined with Win 748 for 223 Rem either bolt or autoloader. Twist rates of 1-7 through 1-9 put out excellent groups out to 200 yards. That is the farthest distance at the local range available to me. I'm sure they do well at 300 or more. Buy them when you see them, they sell out fast.

These will work in barrel twists 1x7 to 1x14. Very accurate.

My bullet of choice...

...for my Howa 1500 .223 bolt rifle. Over H322, (and when I do my part) this bullet groups sub-MOA all day at 100 yds, Consistent results and affordable.

SIERRA 22 (.224) 60gr HP BULLET VARMINTER

I wanted a somewhat heavy bullet for my Rem. Model SEVEN 22-250 with a 14 twist barrel for predator hunting. Per the Sierra Reloading Manuel, I used RL-15 powder and was surprised on how well they grouped.
