In 2016, Weatherby ushered in a new era in ballistic superiority by introducing both a new cartridge and a new caliber of bullet to the Weatherby line.

The 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum is the fastest production 6.5mm there is. Combined with high Ballistic Coefficient (BC) projectiles designed for long range shooting, the velocity of the 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum opens a whole new world of possibilities and provides hunters with the terminal performance every Weatherby shooter is accustomed to.

Weatherby; once again proving that nothing shoots flatter, hits harder, or is more accurate; now in 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum.

This is loaded ammunition.

Outstanding Accuracy

I have a custom Mark V built by Bill Wiseman. This ammo will shoot sub 1/4 MOA 5 shot groups at 100 yards.

Top Notch in Every Way

With a cartridge of this size, firing small bullets requires a strong, premium bullet to get reliable performance. The Swift Scirocco is such a bullet. You can expect reliable expansion and deep penetration without worrying about bullet blowup. This ammunition is very high quality. It has beautiful brass and is very accurate. It is accurate, flat, and lethal far further than I can shoot. The Swift Scirocco bullet holds its velocity longer than many other types so it is a perfect match for this long range cartridge.
